As an online store, SHOPAHOME has made doing the groceries, driving to the markets or going to the malls faster and easier by providing just a ‘one-click’ affair.

SHOPAHOME products or services include and not limited to electronics, gadgets, furniture, office and household appliances, clothing, shoes and bags, food, groceries and some other upcoming services. SHOPAHOME services are subject to the following terms and conditions.PRIVACY POLICY. You are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce in any format, any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on the platform nor may you use any of such content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise.

    SHOPAHOME are trademarks belonging to AUSTOLA INTERNATIONAL LTD. No license or consent is granted to you to use these marks in any way and you agree not to use these marks or any marks which are colourably similar without the written permission of AUSTOLA INTERNATIONAL LTD.

    SHOPAHOME respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your intellectual property rights are being infringed by any of our content providers, please kindly contact us for review with a cure period of 90 days for resolution.

     

    How the Contract Is Formed Between You and Us

    • Once you have placed your order, you should receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order (but please contact us if you do not receive this e-mail).
    • Prices of all products can be paid in advance or pay on delivery. After you submit your order, we will confirm this to you by sending you a further e-mail confirming the Product is being processed ready for dispatch (“Dispatch Confirmation”) at which point the contract between us (“Contract”) will be formed. These Terms & Conditions, your order and the Dispatch Confirmation constitute integral and essential parts of the Contract.
    • You have the right to cancel your order at any time prior to the delivery and within the limited return period after the delivery as specified in these terms. If you cancel the order before the delivery, you may need to compensate our expenses incurred by us in connection with our activities at the performance of your order. For technical reasons it may be too late to recall a delivery after you cancel the Order. If this is the case, we will give you notice. You should then receive the delivery and send it back to us at our expense. Please do not open the delivery pack.
    • We offer you to buy a product at any time unless the information about this product is removed from our site or the relevant product page becomes unavailable.
    • From time to time we may make minor changes to a product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements. If these changes touch upon the product description or other mandatory information to be provided to you under the applicable laws, we will update our site immediately. If it appears necessary to make such changes to an ordered Product, we will inform you prior to the delivery and you will have the right to cancel the order and receive the refund without any deductions.
    • These terms and conditions, and any Contract between us, are in English. Please note that we may not necessarily keep a copy of your Contract. You should keep a copy of these terms and conditions and your order for future reference.
    • The Dispatch Confirmation is a confidential document. You must not disclose it to anyone except for the case specified by SHOPAHOME and other cases that may be prescribed by any applicable law. If you disclose the Dispatch Confirmation to anyone without a valid reason, you must be solely responsible for any possible fraudulent or hacking actions committed with the Dispatch Confirmation.

     

     

    Pricing and Payments

    SHOPAHOME prices for goods are as stated underneath the products and are subject to review from time to time. Payments for all orders can be made by Credit or Debit card on the Checkout page. Terms and Conditions may apply. There may be options for payment on delivery specific to each content provider. You should be aware that online payments transactions are subject to validation checks by your card issuer and we are not responsible if your card issuer declines to authorize payment for any reason. Please note, that your card issuer may charge you an online handling fee or processing fee. We are not responsible for this.

     

     

    Shipping and Delivery

    SHOPAHOME …errand gurus is the operator of (shopahome.com) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

    1. General

      Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to cancel or process a refund.

    1. Shipping Costs

      Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.

    1. Returns

      3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind

      SHOPAHOME will happily accept returns due to change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 7 days of receipt of item and are returned to us in original packaging, unused and in resellable condition. Return shipping will be paid at the customers’ expense and will be required to arrange their own shipping. Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email. (SHOPAHOME) will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.

      3.2 Warranty Returns

      SHOPAHOME will happily honor any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 90 days of receipt of items. The warranty policy of the product suppliers/sellers supersedes in every situation. Always check before checking out. Customers will be required to pre-pay the return shipping, however we will reimburse you upon successful warranty claim. Upon return receipt of items for warranty claim, you can expect SHOPAHOME to process your warranty claim within 7 days. Once warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of: (a) refund to your payment method (b) a refund in store credit (c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)

    1. Delivery Terms

      4.1 Transit Time Domestically

      In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 7 days

      4.2 Transit time Internationally

      Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4 - 22 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier you have selected. We are able to offer a more specific estimate when you are choosing your courier at checkout.

      4.3 Dispatch Time

      Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days of your order. Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

      4.4 Change Of Delivery Address

      For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

      4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

      SHOPAHOME will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.

      4.6 Military Address Shipping

      We are able to ship to military addresses using USPS. We are unable to offer this service using courier services.

      4.7 Items Out Of Stock

      If an item is out of stock, we will dispatch the in-stock items immediately and send the remaining items once they return to stock.

      4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

      If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

    1. Tracking Notifications

      Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

    1. Parcels Damaged In Transit

      If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with next steps.

    1. Duties & Taxes

      7.1 Sales Tax

      Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website    

      7.2 Import Duties & Taxes

      Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country, and email encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us. If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to email at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

    1. Cancellations

      If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

    1. Insurance

      Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

      9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit: We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

      9.2 Process for parcel lost in-transit: We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

    Free Shipping

    We will strive to bring our customers greater value and service. That’s why we provide free shipping from some sections and products. Shipping from these sections are done by ePacket in China, EMS in USA or by USPS and in Nigeria by Fedex / DHL. Here we try to absolve shipping cost for your benefit. We may not be able to list items that qualify till point of check out.

    Shipping to Over 200 Countries

    We are proud to offer international shipping services. However, there are some locations we are unable to ship to. If you happen to be from one of those countries, we will contact you.

    Customs

    We are not responsible for any custom fees once the items have shipped. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get custom fees when they arrive to your country.

    Tracking Information

    You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order is shipped but sometimes due to free shipping tracking is not available. For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase may be sent in separate packages even if you’ve specified combined shipping. If you have any other questions, please contact us and we will do our best to help you out.

     

     

    Returns, Refunds, Reviews, Comments, & Related Matters

    You have 7 days to return your items starting from the day you receive your order. This returns period starts from the date you receive your order. SHOPAHOME does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at our fulfillment center. At our discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, SHOPAHOME does not take title to the refunded item. Feel free to call, visit or read the relevant sections for more information about our returns and refunds.

    You may post reviews, comments, photos, videos, and other content; and other communications; and submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions, or other information, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable, and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam" or unsolicited commercial electronic messages. You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead others to your identity or other content SHOPAHOME reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such content, but does not regularly review posted content.

    If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant SHOPAHOME a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You grant SHOPAHOME and sublicensees the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify SHOPAHOME for all claims resulting from content you supply. SHOPAHOME has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. SHOPAHOME takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.

    All purchases of physical items from SHOPAHOME are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

    Returns and refunds may be made only on goods that have been satisfied as factory damaged.

    SHOPAHOME attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, SHOPAHOME does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of any SHOPAHOME Service is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by SHOPAHOME itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

    • If you are a consumer, we are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with the Contract. Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect your legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or defective.
    • If you consider that any Product we have supplied is faulty or mis-described, please notify us immediately.
    • If you discover that your Product is faulty after 14 days we reserve the right to request evidence, such as images of the defect, before issuing any refund of the price paid and/or any associated delivery costs.
    • If you do not make any payment in full to us when it is due; we consider this Contract as terminated at your initiative.
    • We may end the Contract by writing to you if you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the Products to you.
    • If we end the Contract in any of the situations set out in this clause, we will refund any money you have paid in advance for the Products. We have not provided but we may deduct or charge you reasonable compensation for the costs or losses we will incur as a result of your breaking the Contract.
    • If We fail to comply with these terms and conditions, We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer
    • We only supply the Products for domestic, private or public use as ordered. If you use the Products for any commercial, business or resale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
    • We do not in any way exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any matter for which We may not exclude or limit our liability under any applicable law.
    • We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by an event outside our control. An event outside our control means any act, event, omission or accident that are of emergency nature, unavoidable, and beyond our reasonable control.
    • If an event outside our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a Contract, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you and our obligations under the Contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event outside our control. Where the event outside our control affects our delivery of Products to you, we will arrange a new delivery date with you after the event outside our control is over.
    • You may cancel a Contract affected by an event outside our control if there is a risk of substantial delay. To cancel a Contract under this clause please contact us using the details set out in our address.

    Intellectual Property Rights

    1. All and any Intellectual Property Rights in the Products shall be owned by us or our licensors. All such rights are reserved.

    Dispute Resolution

    1. Any controversy, claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions of Sale will be referred to and finally settled by private and confidential binding arbitration before a single arbitrator held in Nigeria in English and governed by Nigeria law pursuant to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act Cap A18 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, as amended, replaced or re-enacted from time to time. The arbitrator shall be a person who is legally trained and who has experience in the information technology field in Nigeria and is independent of either party. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Site reserves the right to pursue the protection of intellectual property rights and confidential information through injunctive or other equitable relief through the Courts.

    Applicable Law

    1. These Terms and Conditions of Use shall be interpreted and governed by the laws in force in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Subject to the Arbitration section, each party hereby agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of Courts of Nigeria and to waive any objections based upon venue.

    Site Policies, Modification, and Severability

    1. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, Service Terms, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
